Corne du Plessis offers personal safaris that can vary from one hunter, hunters with observers to a family group with children wanting to experience the thrill of a hunt. He has a flexibility of camps and hunting areas to choose from in order to tailor make your safari according to your needs. Other activities can be organized to entertain non hunters that do not want to join the hunts. And he offers hunting, photographic and wing shooting safaris in South Africa and Botswana.

Corne grew up on a farm in South Africa where the bush and hunting are an integral part of life. So the progression to Professional Hunter and guide was a natural one, a profession for which he has an instinctive feel. Corne has been a licensed Professional Hunter in South Africa since 1996. He is also a licensed PH in Botswana where has over 6 years of guiding and hunting experience in the wild of the Botswana Okavango Delta.

Botswana is a truly unspoiled wilderness area that offers some of the greatest diversity of habitat and game and is renowned for its elephants, buffalo and cats. The experience and exposure Corne gained there added not only to his knowledge of the bush and animals but gave him a passion for sharing this with guests from all over the world.

While horseback guiding in the Delta Corne met and fell in love with his wife – Pam. They were blessed enough to have the privilege of a wedding on horseback in the depths and majesty of the Delta, surrounded by friends and family. An exceptional and unforgettable experience for both of them.

Corne is a naturalist and not just a hunter. His primary concern always is safety. And his good sense of humour, easy going nature, knowledge and stories of life and adventures in the bush give guests an experience they will never forget and will long to repeat!
